Ocean Park was founded in 1881 as a Chautauqua community, offering education, cultural entertainment, religion and recreation in a family oriented summer community. 130 years later, this focus continues to describe the heart of Ocean Park.Located on Maine’s scenic southern coast, BillowHouse is directly on seven miles of gorgeous sandy beach on picturesque Saco Bay. When you stay here you are less than 20 miles south of the vibrant city of Portland with its great restaurants and fabulous shopping. The charming towns of Kennebunkport with its boutiques and Ogunquit with its Playhouse and Marginal Way are about 20 miles south of BillowHouse. We are really in the middle of all that is wonderful about the coast of Maine.

We are open all year long! Come enjoy spring with us as the lobster boats return and the flowers begin to bloom in our gardens. Enjoy the summer with perfect beach days and family fun. Spend some time with us in the fall; experience the glory of the changing foliage and walk along the empty beach. Winter allows you to enjoy the full majesty of  the sea and the peace of silence and the snow.
